Project Overview
Blueprint Consulting delivered a comprehensive multi-sector Detailed Project Report (DPR) encompassing a regional gravity-fed Water Supply and Sanitation (WSS) scheme, 8.5 km rural/urban hill road connectivity alignment, and irrigation canal command area network.
Scope of Engineering Deliverables
- Water Supply (WSS): Intake headworks, 14.8 km transmission & distribution pipeline, 200 m³ RCC overhead storage reservoir, and water treatment filtration units.
- Road Engineering: Geometric hill road alignment, retaining wall stability calculations, side drains, culverts, and flexible/rigid pavement design.
- Irrigation Systems: Canal headworks, secondary branch distribution channels, check dams, and hydrological catchment analysis.
- DPR & BoQ Feasibility: Complete rate analysis per Nepal Government norms, Detailed Project Report (DPR) preparation, Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) scoping, and economic feasibility.
Key Innovation & Impact
Utilized GIS mapping, EPANET hydraulic modeling, and Civil 3D road corridor simulations to achieve 15% cost optimization while ensuring year-round water security and safe vehicular access for over 18,000 residents.
